About the Project
Have you been waiting for a chance to polish your child’s incredible talent of performing in front of the camera? Is your child candid, dynamic, cheerful, and confident? If yes, they may finally have a chance to work with one of the one of the leading comedy clubs in the world.
The Second City (a school of improvisation, and theatre) – from where famous names Tina Fey, Bill Murray, and Chris Farley took their set of wings, is heading to NYC in search of blooming child stars for their upcoming video production.
This time their patron is an organization dedicated to bringing about social improvement. They place focus on helping the people of New York explore and use their potential to develop New York City into a stronger, healthier, and well connected city. Through this particularly creative project they wish to educate the people of New York about the significance of swim safety and provide assistance in teaching more people to swim.
What are We Looking For
For the video production, The Second City is in search of:
Child actors
Aged between 8 and 10 years of age
Older actors can apply if they look like they fall in the prescribed age range
Should be currently residing in New York
Any ethnicity
The child should be
Eloquent in speech
Youthful
Intelligent
A performer
Able to connect with people of all ages (grandparents, parents, teens, and kids)

The videos can be submitted latest by Sunday, April 17th 2016.
Please make sure your submissions adhere to the set of instructions panned out by the team.

Important Instructions
To submit your child’s taped auditions, here’s what you need to know:
Use a laptop camera or a cell phone camera to tape the audition.
Your submission email should have “NYC Casting” as its subject.
The slate to camera: The child’s full name and Union status.
Any submissions received without the aforementioned details would not be considered.
